Life is more than a series of coincidences; rather it is a detailed road map guiding our hearts and minds to an unyielding love and the greatest freedom we have ever known. It is my life’s work to record just some of the scenic views along the way.
As a budding photojournalist trained by a National Geographic Photographer in the Colorado Rockies I quickly learned the power of an image. There is a reason big media seeks after quality imagery…..and it’s very simple… they understand the power of an image. It captivates their audiences, draws attention to their stories, and creates a psychological response in the human brain. It can evoke surprise, sadness, fear, disgust, anger, or best of all JOY. Depending on what the image is will dictate what response will follow.
When I discovered this truth, something within me grew. I knew that every frame was an opportunity to change a life and I decided that I wanted each one to matter. The heirloom products I create for my clients are not just a temporary click. They are created to be generational markers; filled with memories that inspire, remind, and even reveal a beauty within their story.
I strive to develop long term relationships with my clients as I listen to their stories. While our current world pushes volume and a fast pace I am careful to take my time and hear my client’s desires. I believe firmly that quality time and connecting with each person is some of the most important work I do in creating artwork that will last a lifetime. I speak life into each soul that passes my way because I know that truth elevates and ignites the spark within each us.
